Government Grants for Manufacturing Automation in Alabama

The state of Alabama offers several grants to help manufacturers automate their operations and increase productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness. The Innovate Alabama Supplemental Grant program has awarded nearly $10 million in total grant funds since its launch in July 2022, with the latest round providing $2.1 million to 15 small businesses, mostly in the defense and artificial intelligence sectors. Additionally, Governor Kay Ivey recently announced $30 million in initial SEEDS grants to accelerate the development of industrial sites across Alabama, which will help facilitate the growth of manufacturing automation.
